Somatic therapies, and Internal Family Systems, can help to unravel the creative and often uncomfortable ways the body sends messages. Exploring these messages with curiosity can lead us to embodiment, a state where connection and dialogue exist between different aspects of us, and allow all of our parts to be heard and cared for. Embodiment is more than mindful presence. Embodiment involves nurturing a relationship with the body we call our home, and facilitating communication and connection between the various parts of us. Befriending and transforming these same parts leads naturally to healing.
I use multiple modalities to approach this connection.
